Returns Eligibility

Time Limit

You have 7 days from your purchase date to initiate a return. After this period, we cannot process refunds or exchanges.

Item Condition Requirements

To qualify for a return, items must be:

  • Completely unused and in original condition.

  • In original packaging with all components.

  • Free from damage or modification.

Non-Returnable Items

The following products cannot be returned for hygiene and security reasons:

  • Transponder chips - Cannot verify usage status.

  • Lock picks - Cannot verify usage status.

  • Sale items - All discounted products are final sale.

  • Software/License products - Once activated or registered (see Software License section below).

Order Cancellations

Before Dispatch

If you need to cancel an order that hasn't been dispatched yet:

  • Deadline: Before 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

  • Process: Call us immediately for immediate cancellation.

  • Refund: Full refund with no deductions.

After Dispatch

If your order has already been dispatched:

  • Contact us as soon as possible.

  • Return the item following our standard return process.

  • Refund: Full purchase price minus £5.50 shipping and handling fee.

Processing Steps

  1. Return Inspection: We inspect all returned items upon receipt.

  2. Email Notification: You'll receive confirmation that we've received your return.

  3. Approval Decision: We'll notify you whether your refund is approved or declined.

  4. Payment Processing: Approved refunds are processed within 14 days to your original payment method.

Delayed Refunds

If you haven't received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account for pending transactions.

  2. Allow additional processing time for your financial institution.

  3. Contact us at enquiries@carkeyplace.co.uk if the refund still hasn't appeared.

Exchanges

We only offer exchanges for defective or damaged items. We do not exchange items for different colours or models.

Exchange Process

  1. Email us at enquiries@carkeyplace.co.uk describing the defect or damage.

  2. Send the item to our returns address (see Shipping Information below).

  3. We'll send a replacement once we receive and verify the faulty item.

Software and License Products

Important: Products involving software or license keys become non-returnable and non-refundable once activated or registered.

Why This Policy Exists

  • Activated licenses cannot be transferred or reused.

  • The activation process immediately marks the product as used.

  • This complies with industry standards and consumer protection regulations.

By purchasing software or license products, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
